Kyle Higashioka Returns Tuesday, Looks to Reignite Bat Against Angels
Kyle Higashioka (hamstring) is back in the lineup Tuesday night, batting seventh against the Los Angeles Angels in the second game of the series. The 35-year-old missed five games after straining his right hamstring on July 22. In 56 games this season, Higashioka is slashing .253/.301/.368 with a .669 OPS. He has shared catching duties with 30-year-old Jonah Heim. Higashioka will look to make an immediate impact as the Rangers continue their push in the AL West. First pitch in Anaheim is scheduled for 9:38 p.m. EDT.
