Keenan Allen Likely A Game-Time Decision Sunday
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) will likely be a game-time decision in Week 16 against the division-rival Broncos, according to head coach Anthony Lynn. Allen was active last Thursday against the Raiders but played just 24 of 66 offensive snaps, leading to just one catch on three targets for 17 yards. Making things even more difficult for fantasy managers, the Chargers don't play until later in the day on Sunday. The 28-year-old has WR2 upside if he's healthier than he was last week, especially since he had nine catches for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 meeting against the Broncos. With tight end Hunter Henry already out due to COVID-19, rookie quarterback Justin Herbert's streaming stock would fall further if Allen is also ruled out. Mike Williams and Tyron Johnson would see a healthy increase in targets if Allen cannot play.
