Kadarius Toney Flying Around At Practice
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle, hamstring) was officially listed as limited in Wednesday's practice, but he appears to be making good progress ahead of the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Toney didn't practice at all last week after injuring his ankle in the AFC Championship, but he said earlier this week he plans to play in the big game. "He was spirited yesterday and running around like crazy, so we'll see how it goes today," head coach Andy Reid said. Including the playoffs, the 24-year-old has 20 catches for 216 yards and two touchdowns while carrying the ball six times for 73 yards and a touchdown in nine games for KC. He should have more opportunities on Sunday if he's active with Mecole Hardman (pelvis) out, but Toney will still be boom-or-bust for fantasy.
