Justin Upton Drives In Two During Rehab Game
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and played the field for the first time this season on Saturday during a rehab assignment. Upton has not played since March 24 after running into a wall during a spring training game. He has been on the shelf ever since with turf toe and a knee injury but is nearing a return to the majors. Upton will need a healthy dose of minor league at-bats to get back into the swing of baseball activities but could be back on the Angels within the next three weeks. When healthy, Upton is an offensive force that has hit 30-plus home runs with 80-plus RBI in each of his last three seasons. Barring a setback, Upton is worth stashing on the bench in most fantasy formats.
