Justin Jackson Still Not Practicing
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson (quadriceps) missed practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Jackson was inactive in the Week 9 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and is trending towards missing a second straight game this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. The 25-year-old has averaged 7.8 yards per carry this year, but he has only 13 carries for 101 yards and has caught all seven of his targets for 34 yards in six games behind Austin Ekeler. With Jackson out last weekend, Joshua Kelley played 24.6% of the offensive snaps, with rookie Larry Rountree III playing 8.7%. Kelley and Rountree combined for only four carries and seven yards, with Kelley catching his only target for four yards.
