Justin Fields Off To A Good Start This Week
3 years agoChicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday after he was inactive last week. Andy Dalton (groin) also practiced in full, meaning that it's unlikely we'll see Nick Foles make a second straight start despite leading the team to a comeback win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16. Head coach Matt Nagy said it's still too early to determine who will start under center for the Bears in Week 17 against the New York Giants, but Fields appears to have a good chance of returning if he can avoid setbacks later in the week. It's been an up-and-down season for the 22-year-old, but he offers the most upside at the position for the Bears and fantasy managers. Fields will be a midrange QB2 for those in two-QB leagues if he returns this weekend.
