Justin Fields Inactive On Sunday
3 years agoChicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields (ankle) is officially inactive in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Fields came into this game as questionable, but the Bears announced on Friday that Nick Foles would be getting the start, regardless of whether Fields was active. Andy Dalton (groin) is also inactive after just returning from the COVID-19 list this week. With both Fields and Dalton out, Ryan Willis was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster in order to back up Foles. The Bears offense becomes even more unattractive with Fields out and Foles under center. Foles will be playing for the first time this season, and although the Seahawks defense allows the most passing yards per game (273.9), he'll only be a desperation, low-end QB2 play in superflex leagues.
