6 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Josh VanMeter will bat ninth and serve as the designated hitter versus lefty Brett Anderson on Wednesday. VanMeter was recently called up after hitting .336 with 13 home runs and 37 RBI in the minors through 30 games. VanMeter hit his way into the Reds lineup and could very well stay there for quite some time. However, VanMeter isn't the best fantasy option for Wednesday against a lefty starter and batting last. Fantasy owners should take a look at him in the long run since the Reds will likely get VanMeter in their lineup quite a bit.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
