Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung was recalled from Triple-A on Monday and is in the lineup batting eighth and starting at third base. Justin Foscue and Alejandro Osuna were both optioned to make room for Jung and Michael Helman. It came as a surprise when Jung was demoted at the beginning of July, although he was batting just .237 with a .283 on-base percentage through 75 games. He didn't crush the ball in the minors either, but it's too early to give up on the 27-year-old who hit 23 home runs in 122 games in 2023. He should get every day playing time at the hot corner moving forward.--Jeremy Heist
