Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said pitcher Jorge Lopez's move to a relief role is likely a long-term one. "I think he can be really good there," Yost said. Lopez has gone 0-6 with a 6.79 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, 49 strikeouts and 21 walks in 10 starts and one relief outing over 51 2/3 innings so far this season.
