Jordan Howard Being Used In Passing Game
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard likes the way he's fit into head coach Doug Pederson's offense and said that it's exciting that the team is using him in the passing game. The Bears viewed him as one-dimensional, while the Eagles don't. Howard struggled with dropped passes early in his career, but he caught all of his targets in 2018, according to Pro Football Focus. The 24-year-old saw his reception totals in Chicago drop from 29 in his rookie year to 20 last season. He could be used more in the passing game in Philly, but rookie Miles Sanders might have something to say about that. Sanders has also been injured and has missed offseason workouts, so Howard could be getting extra run in those spots.
