Jets Get Robert Saleh Back From COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe New York Jets activated head coach Robert Saleh from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, so he will be back on the sidelines to coach the team in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Saleh spent seven days in quarantine after testing positive for the virus on Dec. 22. Interim coach Ron Middleton, usually the tight ends coach, ran practices and led the team to a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. Along with Saleh, the Jets also activated defensive linemen John Franklin-Myers and Folorunso Fatukasi and starting nickelback Michael Carter II. Backup quarterback Joe Flacco, tight end Kenny Yeboah and linebacker Hamsah Nasirildeen were also activated, but the Jets still have 17 players on the COVID-19 list.
