Carolina Hurricanes center Jesperi Kotkaniemi suffered an ankle injury in Friday's 4-3 overtime win against the Vancouver Canucks, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. The Finnish forward was limited to 7:19 of ice time in the contest. Kotkaniemi has tallied five points (two goals, three assists) in 15 appearances this season. It appears highly doubtful that Kotkaniemi will be available for Saturday's tilt against the Edmonton Oilers. Seth Jarvis (eye) was also hurt on Friday night, meaning Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour may need to make several adjustments to his lineup.--Taavi Pailk
