Jefferson Rojas Knocks Two Doubles on Sunday
Jefferson Rojas extended his hitting streak to six games on Sunday during their contest against High-A Peoria. In this game, Rojas went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run. During this six-game hitting streak, Rojas has posted two multi-hit games, scored four runs, and added three RBI. During this stretch, he has held a cumulative .364/.440/.636 slash line. The 20-year-old has spent the entire first half of the campaign with High-A South Bend. Through 61 games, the No. 77-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com has held a .281/.393/.469 slash line with 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 14 stolen bases. This is a nice improvement compared to the .245/.310/.336 line he held at High-A last summer. Given his strong play this season, he could earn a promotion to Double-A in the coming weeks.
