Jaren Jackson Jr. Traded to Utah
Two-time All-Star power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is on the move. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Grizzlies and Jazz have agreed to a trade that sends Jackson to Utah, along with John Konchar, Jock Landale, and Vince Williams Jr., for Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang, and three first-round picks. Jackson joins a Utah team that is signaling plans to be competitive next season. As for this season, however, the Jazz have shown a tendency to rest players with the most minor of injuries, so JJJ could find himself on the end of the bench in street clothes more often than fantasy basketball managers prefer. On days he is active, he'll start in the frontcourt alongside Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic, should Utah go big, or could be called upon to start at the five.
