Jared Walsh Hits For The Cycle on Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman/outfielder Jared Walsh went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, triple, double, and two additional RBI during Saturday's 11-6 victory over the New York Mets. The 28-year-old busted out of a slump in a big way on Saturday. He was hitting .150 (3-for-20) over his last five contests. Walsh singled in the third, doubled in the fifth, blasted a solo home run in the seventh, and two-run triple in the eighth inning to hit for the cycle. Walsh has been solid this season, slashing .260/.309/.474 with 11 home runs, 28 runs, 36 RBI, and a stolen base across 230 plate appearances. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Walsh in their lineups in all league formats.
