Jared Goff Doubtful To Play In Week 17
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that quarterback Jared Goff (knee) is "doubtful" to play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. Goff missed last week's game due to COVID-19, but he's in line to miss his second straight game due to a knee injury that he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Backup Tim Boyle, who went 24-for-34 for 187 yards with a touchdown and interception last week, is likely to make another start this weekend. The Seahawks defense has allowed the second-most passing yards per game (270.9) this year, but Boyle is still only a desperation QB2 play in superflex leagues, and the Lions could be missing two of their three top receivers in the game due to COVID.
