Jared Goff Cleared From COVID-19 List
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has come off the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. Goff missed the Week 16 loss to the Atlanta Falcons while on the COVID list, but he'll be available to return in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. Tim Boyle filled in for Goff against the Falcons and went 24-for-34 for 187 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception in the 20-16 loss. Goff will be back for a nice matchup, as the Seahawks defense allows the second-most passing yards per game in 2021. In his last four games, Goff has been playing better as well, going 91-for-131 for 898 yards, nine touchdowns and only two interceptions. Goff shouldn't be considered a QB1 streamer in fantasy championship matchups, but he'll have some decent QB2 upside for his return.
