James Robinson Won't Play Against Bears
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars rookie running back James Robinson (ankle), who ranks third in rushing yards this year, missed the entire week of practice and will not play in Week 16 against the Bears, according to a source. The 22-year-old has been a revelation for the Jaguars and fantasy managers this year, but it looks like he may have played the last game of his impressive rookie campaign. It's really bad timing, too, with most leagues in their championship week. With Robinson now out, expect some combination of Devine Ozigbo and Dare Ogunbowale to handle the backfield touches. Rookie Nathan Cottrell could also mix in. Against a serviceable Bears Defense, fantasy managers would be wise to steer clear of this situation if they can. The Bears defense should definitely be considered a top-three fantasy unit in Week 16.
