3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles in Week 16 against the New York Jets on Sunday and was carted off the field. It's a tough way for Robinson to end his 2021 season, and it's also a tough break for fantasy managers that were relying on Robinson to put up some big numbers in a nice matchup against the Jets and their soft defense. Before tearing his Achilles, Robinson had three carries for 10 yards and he wasn't targeted at all in the passing game. The 23-year-old came into this week with 161 carries for 757 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 31 receptions for 222 yards on 46 targets in the passing game. It remains to be seen if he'll be ready to play when the regular season begins in 2022. With Carlos Hyde on Injured Reserve, Dare Ogunbowale should take over lead-back duties in Jacksonville to close out the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
