James Conner Likely To Be A Game-Time Decision
3 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that running back James Conner (heel) is likely to be a game-time decision for the second straight week this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Conner wasn't seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday, which isn't a good start to the week after he was inactive in last Saturday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. With Conner out last week, Chase Edmonds had a season-high 16 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown while adding eight catches for another 71 yards through the air. The matchup isn't a great one against a surging Cowboys defense, but Conner would be in the low-end RB2 flex mix if he returns this weekend. Keep a close eye on his practice status over the next two days, while he's almost certainly going to get a questionable tag on the final Week 17 injury report.
