University of Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter announced on Tuesday that he is entering the 2023 NFL draft after his team beat Texas Christian University in a blowout to win the college national championship on Monday night. ESPN's Mel Kiper has Carter rated as the No. 1 player in the upcoming draft. An ankle injury slowed Carter for much of the first half of the 2022 season, and he also suffered a knee injury in October that caused him to sit out two games. The 6-foot-3, 310-pound defensive tackle was a unanimous All-American in 2022 despite his injuries, and he also earned All-SEC first-team honors and was a finalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award as the nation's top defensive lineman.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
