Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery for the second straight offseason that will keep him out of the Pro Bowl again, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly. He's expected to make a full recovery and take part in offseason workouts. Clowney was healthy and played in every game in 2017 for the first time in his career, recording a career-high 9.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss. Clowney is one of the premiere linebackers and run stoppers in the league, and he was one of the big reasons the Houston defense was highly touted coming into the year. However, key injuries to players like J.J. Watt torpedoed their season overall. With a healthy Watt back and others in 2018, the Texans should deliver on that promise next season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
