4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom's (back) MRI exam didn't show anything concerning on Wednesday, and the team is considering him day-to-day after he left his intrasquad outing early on Tuesday with back stiffness. It's unclear when the back-to-back National League Cy Young winner will pitch again, but it looks like he's dodged a bullet. deGrom could be limited in terms of innings at the outset of the 2020 season, but he remains an elite fantasy ace otherwise. There's a chance that he might not be ready to go on Opening Day next Friday, and if he does get the nod, he'll be more risky than normal in DFS.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
