9 months agoIndianapolis Colts tackle/guard Jack Mewhort is retiring from the NFL at the age of 26, according to Andrew Walker of Mewhort was a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and was a top young interior offensive linemen before missing 17 games over the last two seasons with separate knee injuries. Rookie guard Braden Smith will likely fill Mewhort's spot, but the departure certainly doesn't inspire confidence in the Colts offensive line for 2018. Quarterback Andrew Luck will need all the protection he can get to avoid aggravating his shoulder.--Taylor Maxston - RotoBaller
