1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-hander Jack Flaherty (hip) has been scratched from his scheduled start on Sunday in London against the division-rival Chicago Cubs due to right-hip tightness, according to manager Oliver Marmol. It's unclear if the injury will force the 27-year-old to the injured list, so fantasy managers will need to check back for more updates on Flaherty in the coming days. The Cardinals haven't announced a replacement to start on Sunday. Perhaps the hip injury explains why Flaherty has allowed 12 runs on 20 hits while walking four and striking out eight in his last two starts against the Giants and Nationals to raise his season ERA to 4.95 (4.20 FIP) over 15 starts (80 innings).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
