Isaac Paredes Missing Third Straight Game on Sunday
Isaac Paredes (hamstring) remains on the bench for Sunday's series finale against the visiting Minnesota Twins at Daikin Park. Luis Guillorme will handle third base and will bat out of the nine-hole against Twins right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson. Paredes suffered a strained left hamstring in Thursday's win over the Chicago White Sox, but for now, the Astros aren't putting him on the injured list. The 26-year-old has been one of the team's most consistent producers on offense in his first year in Houston, so fantasy managers are certainly hoping he can return sooner than later. Paredes is slashing .255/.353/.478 with an .831 OPS, 15 homers, 42 RBI and 37 runs scored on the season. He should be stashed in all leagues if he does go on the IL. Guillorme is a light-hitting veteran infield utility man and should be avoided for DFS purposes.
