Initial X-Rays On Adam Trautman Come Back Negative
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman (ankle), who was carted off the field on Monday night during the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday, according to a source. Initial X-rays came back negative, but Trautman is still experiencing mild pain. A popular breakout candidate for 2021, Trautman was being used more as a blocker than a pass-catcher in the preseason, which was concerning, and now fantasy managers are forced to wonder whether Trautman will even be ready for Week 1. We'll know more about a timetable after his MRI exam, but for now, pump the breaks on the optimistic fantasy outlook for Trautman in 2021. He currently has a 19.6 ADP among tight ends. Nick Vannett would see more opportunities if Trautman is out for an extended period of time.
