6 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman/outfielder Ian Desmond is taking a seat for the second straight day on Wednesday. No injury has been mentioned and Desmond pinch-hit on Tuesday night, but he's struggled against right-handers this season. Desmond has hit just .208 against righties versus .290 against lefties, and he's struck out in 30% of his at-bats against righties versus just 22% against lefties.
