He remains one of the elite power hitters in the game, with an average exit velocity, barrel rate, and hard-hit rate, all ranking in the 99th percentile. Staying healthy is always his biggest struggle, with the 114 games he played last year (70 percent of the season) actually seems like a best-case scenario for him. It was the most games he has played in a year since 2021, and he's already starting off 2025 on a bad note. It was recently revealed that the slugger is dealing with soreness in both of his elbows and with no timetable for when he will resume baseball activities. The Yankees slugger hasn't swung a bat in several weeks. ATC is projecting him to slash .223/.298/.457 with 27 home runs, 70 RBI, and 53 runs in 457 plate appearances, but expect the projections to be adjusted down if he starts the season on the injured list. With an ADP of 320, he's worth grabbing at the end of drafts, even if he starts the season on the IL.
