Los Angeles Kings goaltender Garret Sparks had a memorable comeback game on Sunday against Washington, producing 33 saves in a 3-2 victory. It was his first start since April 2019. This was the second game of a back-to-back set and the Kings were forced to go with Sparks after Calvin Petersen (COVID-19 protocols) was ruled out. The Kings will have another back-to-back next week, which should give Sparks another start.
