Gabriel Arias Sidelined Again on Wednesday
Gabriel Arias (wrist) remains out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's clash against the division-rival Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field. Brayan Rocchio is starting at shortstop and will bat eighth against Royals right-hander Jonathan Bowlan. Arias was pulled from Monday's series opener with inflammation in his right wrist and will miss his second straight game. The 25-year-old is considered day-to-day for now and hopes to return for Thursday's series finale against KC. Arias has missed plenty of time of late due to nagging injuries and isn't much to look at offensively when he's healthy anyway. Rocchio isn't much better for fantasy purposes and should be considered a weak DFS sleeper at the position. The 24-year-old Venezuelan has hit .237 (68-for-287) on the year with four homers, 40 RBI, and six steals.
