Gabriel Arias Not Playing on Tuesday
Gabriel Arias (hand) is still out of the starting nine for Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Brayan Rocchio will slide over to shortstop for yet another start and will bat seventh against Red Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet. The Guardians were expecting Arias to return to action on Tuesday after he was hit on his right hand by a pitch last Friday, but they are giving him another day off and he will miss a fourth straight game. Rocchio isn't much to look at with a bat in his hands and is hitless in four career at-bats against Crochet. Fantasy managers setting DFS lineups should look elsewhere for a sleeper at the position. Arias is also a glove-first player for the Guards and is currently slashing a weak .222/.281/.362 with a .642 OPS, nine home runs, 45 RBI, 36 runs and six steals in 351 at-bats.
