Minnesota Twins closer Fernando Rodney pitched a scoreless ninth on Saturday to nail down his third save of the season, preserving a 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds. It was far from a perfect inning as Rodney had to work around two walks in the frame. Rodney's grasp on the ninth-inning role had gotten shaky after he blew two saves over the past week but Saturday's outing should help him keep the role for at least a bit longer. It doesn't help matters for Rodney that former closer Addison Reed is operating as the Twins' setup man. Rodney is now 3-of-6 in save chances with a 5.87 ERA in his first season with the Twins.--Matt T - RotoBaller
