San Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (shoulder) isn't included in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies. Longoria exited Tuesday's game with right shoulder soreness. Giants manager Gabe Kapler called Longoria day-to-day. The shoulder issue had been bothering Longoria last week as well, so the team may choose to be extra cautious with the oft-injured veteran. Longoria has played in 17 games this year and he's slashing .236/.276/.545 with five home runs, 11 RBI and seven runs.
