Edwin Encarnacion Stays Hot With 17th Dinger
6 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Edwin Encarnacion slugged his 17th home run of the year Wednesday in the team's 14-1 offensive outburst. His long ball was of the three-run variety, and he now has four round-trippers in his last five games. The veteran hasn't shown many signs of age this season batting .241 with 41 RBI and 41 runs as he's certainly done a spectacular job of boosting his trade value. Encarnacion remains one of the top power producers at his position and owners should remain hopeful that wherever he lands midseason, he still has an everyday role.
