Eagles Optimistic Mack Hollins Will Be Ready For Training Camp
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is optimistic that wide receiver Mack Hollins (hernia) will be ready to practice for the start of training camp in late July. He remains out of mandatory minicamp 16 months after having sports hernia surgery, and he was working out on a side field on Monday. The third-year wideout played through the injury in his rookie season and had surgery after the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Hollins went on Injured Reserve in 2018 and missed the entire season after continued setbacks. He had a second procedure, but Pederson said Hollins hasn't had any setbacks along the way. The 25-year-old only had 16 receptions for 226 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season and is a long shot to produce much with DeSean Jackson now in the fold.
