Eagles Hopeful Jordan Howard Can Play In Week 17
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard's (neck) MRI exam was "good" on Monday, and the team is hopeful that he can play in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team. Howard suffered a stinger in the second half of the Week 16 win over the New York Giants, but he will have a chance to play this week. And with Miles Sanders already being ruled out due to a broken hand, Howard could be Philly's leading ball-carrier. The 27-year-old saw a season-low nine carries for 37 yards on Sunday, but he caught his first two passes of the year on four targets for an extra 19 yards. Although he'd likely share touches with Boston Scott and rookie Kenneth Gainwell, Howard could have some RB2 upside in Week 17 if he plays.
