Drew Lock Limited, Teddy Bridgewater Still Not Practicing
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock (ankle) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday, while Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) remained out with a concussion. Although Lock is dealing with a new injury, he's expected to get the start for the second straight week after Bridgewater suffered a scary head injury in Week 15. In his first start of 2021 against the Las Vegas Raiders, Lock didn't look good at all, going 15-for-22 for 153 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the loss. Perhaps he's more comfortable this weekend against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that just allowed 41 points to a bad Houston Texans offense, but Lock is just a bottom-of-the-barrel QB2 in superflex leagues. Expect Denver to lean on their ground game as much as they can again.
