Donovan Peoples-Jones Returns To Practice
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) returned to practice on Wednesday in a limited fashion after missing the team's last two games. It's good timing with Odell Beckham Jr. away from the team indefinitely, but Peoples-Jones still won't be a lock to return to action in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 22-year-old had four catches for a season-high 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but he has done very little outside of that in this low-volume passing attack. Peoples-Jones should have an expanded role whenever he returns to the field, but it will be hard to rely on him for consistent weekly production. If he misses another game, Rashard Higgins and rookie Anthony Schwartz would operate in three-receiver sets alongside Jarvis Landry.
