Derek Hill Lands on Injured List with Sprained Finger
Derek Hill (finger) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left middle finger sprain on Tuesday, reports Christina De Nicola of MLB.com. He was replaced on the roster by Jack Winkler, who was recalled from Triple-A. The 29-year-old suffered the injury while practicing in the batting cage on Saturday and will be out until at least next week. His playing time has been sporadic as of late, as he was mainly serving as their fourth outfielder. He's batting just .211 with a .275 on-base percentage in 33 games this season, so even when healthy, he shouldn't be on many fantasy radars.
