Deebo Samuel Off The Week 10 Injury Report
3 years agoCorrecting a previous item, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (calf) is not listed on the team's initial injury report for Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams. Samuel was able to get in a full practice and should be fine to play on Monday night, barring a setback later this week. The 25-year-old had one of his more quiet games of the season in the Week 9 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, catching five of his nine targets for 63 yards. It probably wasn't a coincident with tight end George Kittle returning from Injured Reserve and Brandon Aiyuk posting his best game of the season. Kittle's return will lower Samuel's target ceiling, but he comes into Week 10 as the No. 3 overall fantasy WR and remains a must-start. However, he'll be more in the WR2 range on Monday night and could be facing coverage from shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
