Darrell Henderson Jr. Injures Knee, Ruled Out
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with a knee injury. Before leaving, Henderson saw just one carry for 17 yards and wasn't targeted at all in the passing game. Sony Michel was once again the featured back for the Rams despite Henderson being active, and he has gone for over 100 yards rushing on 20-plus rushing attempts against the Vikings. Because of injuries and a bout with COVID-19, Henderson has essentially lost the lead-back role for the time being, and a new injury won't help his cause with the playoffs quickly approaching. If Henderson is forced to miss additional time, Michel will retain RB1 upside going into Week 17. Rookie Jake Funk would be Michel's primary backup, despite the fact that the Rams activated Cam Aker from Injured Reserve this week.
