D.J. Moore Misses Another Practice
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore (hamstring) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury. Head coach Matt Rhule said on Wednesday that Moore is likely to be a game-time decision for the Week 16 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moore's fantasy managers would rest a little easier if he were to return to practice on Friday, but either way, he's expected to be a game-time call on Sunday morning. The 24-year-old has been a top-25 fantasy wideout this year for his volume alone (133 targets), and he's caught only 78 of them for 986 yards and four touchdowns. With his status up in the air, he's trending down as a WR3/flex with quarterback Cam Newton struggling mightily through the air. If Moore cannot play, Robby Anderson and rookie Terrace Marshall Jr. figure to be Carolina's top two receiving targets.
