Curtis Samuel Misses Another Practice
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) remained out of practice for the second time this week on Thursday. Samuel was evaluated by doctors on Thursday instead of practicing. The 25-year-old was supposed to be a big part of this offense in his first year in D.C., but instead he's played in only two games (Weeks 4 and 5) and has four catches on five targets for 19 yards. It's an injury that has bothered Samuel since the summer, and he doesn't appear close to returning after already spending one stint on Injured Reserve to open the season. DeAndre Carter and rookie Dyami Brown should continue battling for reps as the No. 3 receiver behind Terry McLaurin and Adam Humphries.
