Curtis Samuel Gets In A Limited Practice
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring) started off the practice week on Wednesday with a limited session. Samuel missed most of the first half of the season with a lingering groin injury that he had been dealing with since the summer, but he's missed the last two games with a hamstring issue. It's been a year to forget for the 25-year-old in his first year in D.C., as he's played in only five games and has six catches on nine targets for 27 yards. That's all! Samuel hasn't played more than 37% of the offensive snaps in any of his five games, so don't expect him to have much of a role in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles if he's able to return. Even No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin has been mostly inconsistent in Washington's offense in 2021.
