Courtland Sutton Gets More Involved In Week 16
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton only had 33 receiving yards in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, but believe it or not, that was his best yardage total since Week 8. His four receptions (five targets) were the most he's had since Week 7. With quarterback Drew Lock under center in Week 16, Sutton was a little bit more productive, although Denver's offense could not move the ball effectively all day long. It was nice to see Sutton do a little bit more, but it's clear that as long as Jerry Jeudy is healthy, Sutton will struggle to post fantasy relevant stat lines in this low-volume passing offense. It won't really matter who is under center for the Broncos in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers, as Sutton will be a WR4/5.
