Corey Davis 2018 Outlook: Looking to Turn the Page after Ineffective Rookie Season
6 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis is looking to have an improved sophomore season, after falling short in his rookie season. Davis missed five games last season due to a hamstring injury and really never got things going when he returned. He looked to have the makings of a top option for the Titans, as he had six receptions on 10 targets for 69 yards in Week 1 vs the Raiders. In other 10 games he played, he finished with 10 targets only one other time, while never having more than six receptions or more than 91 yards. He also never recorded a touchdown in his rookie year, so his production is truly set for a big increase this season since it was just so last year. The Titans drafted Davis with the fifth pick in 2017, so they are certain to get him involved in the offense as they move forward this season with a new head coach and new offensive coordinator.
