Carolina Hurricanes center Jack Drury is scheduled for hand surgery and will miss some time. Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour revealed Thursday that Drury has injured his thumb. Drury saw just 3:06 of action in Tuesday's matchup against San Jose. He's offered solid production in a limited role for the Hurricanes, registering nine points (three goals, six assists) in 28 games while averaging 13:08 of ice time. Tyson Jost has been summoned from the minors to fill in for Drury in the lineup. Jost's work on the offensive end has been limited to one goal in seven NHL appearances this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
