The Washington Commanders are hiring San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager Adam Peters as their new general manager on Friday, according to sources. Peters won Super Bowls while working in New England and Denver and has been with the 49ers since 2017, helping build one of the league's top rosters. Washington made a quick decision on their next GM and will now move quickly to hire a replacement for head coach Ron Rivera, who they fired immediately after the conclusion of the 2023 regular season on Sunday. The 44-year-old Peters was San Francisco's vice president of player personnel from 2017-20 before being promoted to assistant GM in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
